In-Step fashions is a family owned and oriented business spanning three generations. As a true local Mary Eckert grew up in Fredericksburg marrying her true German Love. She is very involved in the community and church.
Mrs. Morin, mother of seven and avid shoe-lover, realized that there were no businesses devoted to providing shoes to the Fredericksburg community. Thus, In-Step was born. It wasn't long before the store branched out into apparel and accessories. From time to time you will still see Mrs. Morin strolling in her high heels shopping for a new outfit. Mr. Morin passed in 2012 after 64 years of marriage.
This is In-Step's current location. The historic building was constructed in 1860 and it has served as a grocery/general store, soda factory, auto shop, and site of worship for a mission congregation.

Our store is dedicated to staying updated with today's fashions. While keeping comfort a priority trendy styles, business wear, shoes, and accessories for everyday wear. Our employees are like family, and they are pros at coordinating outfits from head to toe.
